On Saturday, October 17th 2015 at 19:30 Viva held its 22nd annual concert, addressed "Slovenian Song Without Borders". We have decided that this year the concert would be performed only once, without repetition, as we have done in the past few seasons.
After a series of a bit different kind of annual concerts in the past few years this time we came back to a more traditional a capella version of performance. The program consisted of four song themes: Love song, Dedication, Prayer and From the summer nights.
Viva's traditional evening was ably moderated by Jurij Berložnik. Our choir's president Irena Hribar thanked our loyal audience, the moderator, and our conductor Simona, who is our artistic director and conductress for 23 years already. :)
The concert was also an ideal opportunity for granting of Gallus badges. Gallus badge is a jubilee award, presented by Republic of Slovenia Public Fund for Cultural Activities, received by individuals for their active participation in amateur musical activities. In 2015, they have earned the following artists: Janez Budič, Katja Ilc, Ines Jagrič Krizman, Mateja Račič, Spruce Žnideršič, Berta balloon, Lidija Cizel, Tanja Kadivnik Kolar, Barbara Wood, Tomislav Osojnik, Karl Radkovič, Amir Tokić, Sabina Žibert and Bojan Kaplan.
